“Every person on the streets of New York is a type. The city is one big theater where everyone is on display.”
YES!!!! I am back! It’s been an unusually long hiatus on my end, but trust me when I say it’s been totally unplanned. Work taks 90% of my time; the rest is spent trying to actually LIVE life (and hopefully result in blog material). I’ve been taking lots of pics, and will try to upload them as time permits. Starting with my most recent: Thanksgiving weekend shenannigans.
One hour later, and I got to spend it with some pretty great folks. Good food, awesome music (say’s the dee-jay herself tee hee!) and a wonderful venue in BK.
Saturday Night? Ice Skating!! My first time undertaking this. Next stop? Skiing. Had lots of fun, although it was pretty treacherous with folks falling down left and right. Dude in the middle was freaking intense (and hilarious!) about his job of handing out rental skates. Landed him some good tips and this pic flanked by awesome chicks
Right after that, the ladies and I decided to check out The Brooklyn Night Bazaar; a fun indoor bazaar with great live music, amazing food and lots of knick knacks to
waste spend money on.
“A group of well-dressed young men vie for the attention of a young lady, and soon learn her affection is won by a kind gesture, and a bit of cleverness.
In collaboration with Johannesburg based fashion gurus, Boys of Soweto, this fashion inspired film highlights the suave gentlemen decorum of the group as well as their clear sense of style. The film was shot in one day in Soweto.”
